Adware
Adware is described as software that plays, downloads, or displays advertising automatically on a computer–following installation or when an application is being used. It is often bundled with another program and shows up in a pop-up screen or a bar that appears on the PC screen when the program is in use. Application programmers often view adware as a way to recover programming costs. In fact, the extra income attainable through the use of adware often motivates programmers to offer applications at lower prices or, sometimes, even for free.

This goes on until you are more than just annoyed–you are downright angry.

For small to medium–sized businesses, this expense may be at best impractical–and at worst, budget crushing. For home-based businesses and individuals, paying for such service is likely to be impossible.

Even if you are fairly experienced with computers, you may find yourself scratching your head in confusion when none of the common fixes work. Sure, there are some people lucky enough to live with a computer expert, but what about everyone else?

Virus
Computer viruses can range from the merely annoying to the completely devastating. Passing from PC to PC, much like their biological counterparts, computer viruses are essentially programs that modify other programs, usually in harmful ways. Furthermore, computer viruses are self-replicating, capable of reproducing without human assistance and infecting other files and programs on the same PC.
